We are not always what we seem, and hardly ever what we dream.
I think I understand, but I'm sure I don't
ABOUT: Liberal. Atheist. Reader. Lover of silly things. I enjoy studying history and old buildings. My journal has no specific focus, it's just a place for babbling. I have a lot of 'opinions,' but I like to think that I respond reasonably well when those views are challenged. Please correct me if I say something wrong/foolish, it's the only way I'll learn!
ADDICTIONS: Arguing. Giant transforming robots. Arguing about giant transforming robots. Reading comic books. Complaining about comic books. Collecting icons. Diet coke and coffee. Writing uninspired tidbits in bio sections. Doodling. Being pretentious.
WISDOM: "Life holds one great but quite commonplace mystery. Though shared by each of us and known to all, it seldom rates a second thought. That mystery, which most of us take for granted and never think twice about, is time.
Calendars and clocks exist to measure time, but that signifies little because we all know that an hour can seem as eternity or pass in a flash, according to how we spend it.
Time is life itself, and life resides in the human heart. " —Michael Ende
